🪴🦇 Meet the Bats: Guardians of the Night
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Bat Education Booth with Bat Conservation International and Austin Bat Refuge
Did you know that bats are one of nature’s most important pollinators, yet they are often misunderstood? Without them, our ecosystems would struggle to survive. Bats work tirelessly every night to pollinate plants, control insect populations, and keep our gardens and crops thriving.
Imagine a world without the fruits, flowers, and plants we love—bats help make all of this possible! These nocturnal heroes need our help to ensure their survival and continued contribution to nature.
Join us as we introduce you to these fascinating creatures of the night. You’ll not only learn about the vital role local bat species play but also get the unique opportunity to name a bat as part of a symbolic adoption!
By the end of this session, you won’t just have learned about bats—you’ll feel connected to their world, empowered to protect them, and excited to share their story. Help us raise awareness, and maybe even adopt a bat of your own!
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to engage with bat conservation experts and take home fun bat facts to share with your friends and family. Plus, you’ll walk away with the pride of knowing you’ve named a symbolically adopted bat!
Mark your calendar for this unforgettable experience that combines fun, education, and conservation!
